In 1999, Elon Musk was 28, fresh off selling Zip2 for $300 million.
He made $22 million from the deal. First big buy? A $1 million McLaren F1.
Only 62 of them were street legal. Musk called it “a moment in my life” as CNN filmed the delivery. He drove it daily, put over 11,000 miles on it, and once crashed it while showing off to Peter Thiel.
The kicker? No insurance.
He paid for repairs himself and eventually sold it in 2007, saying it didn’t fit with Tesla’s mission. That same car is now worth over $20 million and was shown at the 2023 Goodwood Festival.

Reddit gets over 1.7 billion visits a month today.
But in the early days, it was empty.
So the founders, Alexis Ohanian and Steve Huffman, started posting under fake usernames to make the site feel alive. Not to fool people, but to create momentum.
They didn’t wait for users to show up. They built the energy themselves until real communities started forming.
Sometimes you have to kickstart your own movement before the world joins in.

🚫 Never post on Instagram without checking when your followers are most active.
1. Click on your professional dashboard and go to "Followers Activity"
👉 Check which days & hours your followers are most active
2. Find the Peak Hour
👉 Identify the time with the highest activity
3. Post 30 Minutes Before Peak
👉 Upload your post slightly earlier
4. Stay Consistent & Track
👉 Repeat for 1–2 weeks and compare results
Why? Because Instagram’s algorithm pushes your post in the first minutes after it’s published. The more likes, comments, and saves you get early, the more the algorithm keeps showing it to others
📊 That’s why posting 30 minutes before your audience’s peak time means your content lands right when they’re ready to engage.
